BioSteam-System

The Imtech BioSteam-System was developed in Switzerland over 20 years ago. BioSteam means what it says - 100% natural and chemical and Radiation free. It's the perfect Sterilization Solution - validated to produce effective results, especially in spices, herbs, nuts and dry fruits. Batches up to 2t (4,500 lbs) are treated in under 30 minutes with TPC (Total Plate Count) reductions from pasteurization to sterilization.

Saturated Steam demonstrates a constant Temperature / Pressure curve. It is pure steam that comes from boiling water.

The Saturated Steam is introduced into an air-free environment (under vacuum) and expands to fill the empty space.
